Top Deals Available In The PlayStation Store Double Discount Sale, Ends June 23rd

 The PlayStation Store's Double Discount sale is now live, bringing along with it discounts for more than 200 PlayStation 4 games.

Like the recent Days of Play sale, the Double Discount sale brings to the table a wide range of games from various genres and publishers, but with a little twist to it. 

Non PS Plus members can save up to 30% on the discounted games, while PS Plus members get up to 60% off for the same range of games. Good time to be a PS Plus subscriber for sure!

Here is a selection of some of the top deals the sale is bringing...

The Double Discounts offering brings several racing titles to cheaper prices. Some entries in Codemasters' series of racing games 'DiRT' are being discounted. 2017's DiRT 4 and 2019's Dirt Rally 2.0 are 37% off, dropping their prices to $12.59 and $18.89 for non PS Plus members, with PS Plus members receiving a 74% discount on the game's price of $19.99 and $29.99 respectively. In addition, the first DiRT Rally game from 2015 is also 37% off at $12.59, although make sure you pick up the version that comes with the PSVR add-on plus DLC included because they both are the exact same price. If you ever get a PSVR in the future, it could be useful.

Other racing games include F1 2019 at $18.89 with 37% off, Gran Turismo Sport at $14.99 with 25% off, GRID Launch Edition at $18.99 with 37% off, Moto GP 20 at $23.99 with 40% off, and Project CARS at $9.44 with 37% off. In addition, Train Sim World 2 is $21.59 with 28% off. 

In the fighting game scene, Dragon Ball Xenoverse is $11.99 with a whopping 40% off, Injustice 2 is $12.39 with 38% off, and Mortal Kombat X is also $12.39 at 38% off. All these discount rates are doubled with a PS Plus subscription/ membership. 

2017's Assassin's Creed Origins, the first game in Ubisoft's conversion of the famous series to an action RPG, is $35.99 with 40% off. 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which continued and spurred the evolution of the franchise, drops down to $37.79 with 37% off. Its season pass, which brings 2 DLC packs along with Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed Liberation, is now $29.99 with 25% off. 

FromSoftware's 2015 classic Bloodborne is discounted to $14.99 with 25% off. Sony first-party team Pixelopus' cute and charming Concrete Genie gets a price reduction to $22.49 due to the 25% discount. 

For fans of PlayStation's iconic marsupial, The Crash Bandicoot Bundle is on sale, which includes 2017's Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy (remasters of the first three crash games) and 2019's Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The bundle is on sale for $56.24 with 25% off.

Bethesda's catastrophically launched Fallout 76 is discounted to $26.79 from $39.99 with a 33% discount. In addition, fans of the studio's lineup of RPGs will be pleased to hear that the aptly named 'Skyrim Special Edition + Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. Bundle' has dropped down to $59.99 with 30% off. The bundle includes Skyrim Special Edition (the port of the original game for PS4 with some graphical enhancements) and 2015's Fallout 4, along with its 6 DLC expansions. 

A few games from Ubisoft's first-person shooter franchise 'Far Cry' are also on sale. 2018's Far Cry 5 is 42% off at $34.79, and 2019's spin-off game Far Cry New Dawn now only costs $25.19 with a 37% price cut. For even more Far Cry action, look no further than the Far Cry 4 + Far Cry Primal Bundle, which costs $29.99 with a 40% discount. 

Moreover, Ubisoft's 2017 third-person action fighting game For Honor drops down to $18.89 with 37% off. The game's multiple expansion passes are also being discounted. 

Sony Santa Monica's 2018 blockbuster God of War, the reboot of the long-running PlayStation series, gets a discount of 25%. The game now only costs $14.99. 

The stealthy Hitman 2 gets a price cut to $38.99 with 35% off. The game's expansion pass, which brings two completely new levels as well as some other content, gets a 38% discount, bringing the price down to $24.79. 

I had no idea this even existed but Ice Age Scrat's Nutty Adventure! is a 'hilarious 3D action-adventure, where you’ll face fierce prehistoric creatures, survive crazy calamities, and return the missing relics to their rightful home.' The game gets a discount from $39.99 to $25.99 with 35% off. I don't know if this game is any good, and I don't know why anyone would play it, but it's out there if you ever need it. 

2012 indie darling Journey from Thatgamecompany is being given a 25% discount, dropping its price to $11.24. Furthermore and on a completely unrelated note, Kingdom Come Deliverance is 35% off at $19.49 and its DLC collection is 25% off at $14.99.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition, and Mafia III: Definitive Edition are both discounted to $19.79 with 34% off. 

2019's first-person shooter adventure Metro Exodus Gold Edition drops down to $42.24 with a 35% discount. The package includes the base game and the season pass, which brings all the expansions that the game has received since its launch. 

Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the 2017 sequel to 2014's Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is now $32.49 with 35% off. 

Persona spin-off title Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight is 35% off, bringing the price down to $19.49.

Housemarque's most famous game Resogun, the indie arcade-like twin-stick shooter that took the PS4 launch by storm, drops down to $11.24 with 25% off. 

Fans of South Park will be pleased to hear that the 2 latest mainline videogame releases are being discounted. Obsidian Entertainment's 2014 game South Park: The Stick of Truth is now $20.09 with 33% off, while Ubisoft's 2017 game South Park: The Fractured but Whole is now $32.49 with 35% off. The game's season pass also gets a discount. It now costs $20.99 with 30% off. 

Ubisoft's winter and extreme sports game STEEP is now $20.09 with 30% off. 

Nathan Drake's latest and possibly last swashbuckling and globetrotting adventure, Uncharted 4: A Theif's End gets discounted to $14.99 with 25% off. 2017's series spin-off game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy also gets a 25% discount, dropping the price down to $14.99. 

The videogame version of the famous card game UNO is also on sale. With a 25% discount, the game now costs a cheap $7.49. 2016's hacker adventure game, Watch Dogs 2, is now $29.99 with 40% off. 

With future titles from BethesdaSoftworks published studios most likely being Xbox and PC exclusive, what looks like a final hurray from Machine Games has popped on the sale. 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order is now $13.99 with 30% off. The game's prequel Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is also discounted to $13.99 with 30% off. 

Although Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is not on sale, its season pass called 'Wolfenstein 2: Freedom Chronicles season pass' gets a 25% discount to $18.74. The pass includes all the DLC packs for the game. 

For mega-fans of this first-person shooter franchise, the Wolfenstein: Alt History Collection is also on sale. The collection includes, 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order, 2015's Wolfenstein:  Old Blood, 2017's Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and 2019's co-op Wolfenstein: Youngblood. It costs $55.99 with 30% off. 

To round off the sale, 2019's third-person co-op shooter World War Z is discounted to $19.49 with 35% off, while the game's season pass is $20.99 with 30% off. The season pass brings with it all the paid DLC packs for the game. If you are interested in the complete World War Z experience, look no further than the World War Z: GOTY Edition. This edition includes the base game and the season pass at $33.49 with 33%. This is cheaper than buying the game and season pass individually. 

Do remember that if you are a PS Plus member, then you get double the discount on every single game. For example, if a game is 25%, then you will be able to get it at 50% off, a huge steal considering some games default at a 40% discount.
